All Saints Day vs. All Souls Day

Guardian Angels Pre-Kindergarten students begin their Halloween parade

Fall is upon us and Halloween is right around the corner.  The children in our hallways are anxiously awaiting October 31st.  They will have a opportunity to wear their costumes here at school and they will also get a jump-start on their Halloween candy collection by attending our school sponsored Trunk or Treat event.  From a child’s perspective, this probably ranks as one of the best days ever during the school year.

No uniform and Lots of Candy!  Win-Win!!!

As a Catholic school we live our faith daily, through religion classes, school prayers and focus on the Golden Rule, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that we have spoken to our students about All Saints Day, Halloween & All Souls Day.

To be honest it can all be slightly confusing.
